Testing: Establishing Shot Test 2

This is our second attempt at shooting the beginning of our short film. From this shot you view the setting of our story which is in a secondary school. This shot is a pan of the building, which moves into an upwards tilt ending in a high shot of the sky. This Pacific choice in camera movement is deliberate to signify to the audience a sense of helplessness. The shot ends in the sky; from this we can give a slight hint of the ambiance of the film. Naturally when we look into the sky, this shows that we are looking for help, it gives a sense of being desperate. This is only a slight signal, which isn’t too obvious but sets the scene of the film perfectly.
